When applying for certain visas and statuses in Korea, the Gross National Income (GNI) per capita is utilized as a benchmark to assess the applicant's income and financial capacity.
Currently, a GNI per capita of KRW 42,490,000 has been in effect since July 1, 2023 and will continue to be applied until June 30, 2024.
Starting from July 1, 2024, a new GNI per capita of KRW 44,051,000 will be implemented and remained until March 31, 2025 (subject to a minor adjustment).
