When applying for certain visas and statuses in Korea, the Gross National Income (GNI) per capita is utilized as a benchmark to assess the applicant's income and financial capacity.
Currently, a GNI per capita of KRW 42,490,000 has been in effect since July 1, 2023 and will continue to be applied until June 30, 2024.
Starting from July 1, 2024, the following GNI per capita will be applicable:
(1) KRW 44,051,000 from July 1, 2024 to September 30, 2024;
(2) KRW 44,051,000 from October 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025.
